After the iconic New England fieldstone wall most people probably think of fieldstone used on chimney’s or for cladding on the side of a house. Stone Farm calls this application building stone or building veneer. This stone comes directly from the old farm walls ,but is sorted by thickness, style and face area.
RoundsAre not perfectly round in shape ,but rather have a convex shape to the face of the stone and which best mimics the look of an old farm wall. These stones have an almost soft or smooth look. |
MosaicThese irregularly shapes stones are distinct in that the sides are angular and the faces are flat enabling the mason to create a uniform flat surface. |
