Granite was the first industrial strength building material used in America. Throughout New England, large pieces of granite were formed into blocks, sills, and lintels which were used to create foundations and build mill buildings. As these structures are brought out of service, Stone Farm harvests the stone and then repurposes them. There is no way to recreate the weathering and patina that these stones have picked up over the years.
